CRAFT BY ANDREA MAACK

Craft is an icelandic artist Andrea Maack's latest work which was presented at The Reykjavik Art Museum in Iceland.

The artist seeks inspiartion from haute couture and mixes traditional dressmaking with her
signature pencil-drawings.
The dress is made out of a "fabric" designed by Andrea, wich is her signature pencil drawings on pattern cutting paper. The fabric and the dress took about 200 hours to make or a smiliar amount of time that takes to make a haute couture piece.

For
this occasion Maack presented her second line of perfume, filling the exhbition
space with the scent through the course of the show, distributing only 200
samples.

Maack collaborated with fashion designer Cedric Rivrain (who have previously
worked with Martine Sitbone and John Galliano at Christian Dior), perfumery Apf
aromes & parfumes and iterior/spatial designer Ingibjorg A. Jonsdottir on
this project.
