I just came back from Zurich on Swiss Air only to collect my luggage with a broken handle. I put it on a cart and went to the baggage desk only to find out that Swiss Air does not assume responsibility for luggage they have damaged. Either you take out insurance or the repair bill is on you. I'm trying to find that Samsonite Black Label guarantee for life….this is the second time an airline has broken the handle, at least Air France took responsibility and paid for the repair.
