yoshikazu yamagata to mafuyu – a knitted collaboration

Dear Shaded Viewers,

I first met Yoshikazu Yamagata when he was participating in the ITS3 festival in Trieste, Italy. A few years later a knitted doll of me in what Yoshikazu imagined my underwear to look like, paraded down the catwalk at his Central Saint Martins show.

Now he is working together with Mafuyu and this is their knitted village.
