The house where James lives

Dear Shaded Viewers,

James Goldstein’s three story villa was originally built in the l960’s. He bought the house designed by John Lautner in l972 and has been remodelling it ever since. He believes that architecture should constantly be evolving and always has scale models that architects pupose for the next transformation. He worked closely on the house with John Lautner until his death and is a firm believer in big ideas and a big imagination. From the bedroom you have a 180 degree panoramic view of downtown Los Angeles. Gigantic glass walls give a view of the swimming pool and the ocean. One of the glass walls is the wall behind Gentlemen Jim’s bed. Imagine what that must be like when someone is swimming in it. I asked Cherry Vanilla and Arlene Pachasa to go and visit so that I could have a nice document of how I would dream to live.
