My old friend Satch was back in town today so we met up for a carrot juice at the Palais du Tokyo. It was a pleasure to get away from my computer screen for a minute. At the moment Satch has a show at his gallery in Paris. He used to live here for more than a decade but ever since he moved to NYC his life went into high gear. His work is now in the permanent collections of many museums around the planet. Here he is holding up an image of one of his pieces currently on view at Galerie Anne de Villepoix. His work mixes sports with social commentary.
