The stunningly beautiful Betony Vernon welcomed me into her members only boudoir santuary last night. First you pass through thick red velvet drapes before entering the santuary/gallery which has nude color leather padded walls, sound proof, and soft lighting. Betony specializes in empowering people with the art of giving pleasure. Her mission is to educate the world and one way of doing that is by writing a book that will be available to the general public. Among other things, she creates beautiful objects that celebrate and heighten sexual awareness. All of the prototypes are made in her atelier in Italy. We talked for hours about her life, the book that she is writing, her studies in art history and her current pursuit for a doctorate in sexology. You will have to wait until her book comes out to learn more. In the meantime the article that I am preparing on her will appear in Issue-One in a few months.

P.S. She also designed that beautiful dress that she is wearing above and a pair of shoes in silver that have no sole, something that I’d never seen before..
