The official London schedule welcomes Gareth Pugh who has just ‘won New Generation
sponsorship supported by Topshop . Topshop seems to be ruling London Fashion Week these days. I’ve heard mixed reactions to what that means for London fashion. 
I first became aware of Gareth and his work when I was the casting director for the French segment of the first reality fashion tv show, Fashion House. Judging by what is on offer these days, perhaps it was a little too soon. France did not yet see the value of a fashion reality tv show at that time and the French designers were the only ones without a tv support.
