Curtin House on Swantson Street in Melbourne, Australia

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Our frist contribution from Rob McKenzie in Australia. Rob publishes the magazine SLAVE.

Curtin House is a building on Swanston Street, the cheap main drag in
Melbourne, Australia.
This building has a massive bar and restaurant on the
second floor. Above that is the bookshop Metropolis and the Someday Gallery
and Shop run by Misha Hollenbach and Shauna Toohey from PAM. All very
fashionable!
Cath Martini has been running Order and Progess from an appointment only
warehouse space in Fitzroy.

In the last couple of weeks though she has moved
premises and refit a cupboard like space in the above mentioned city premises.
All up it is three racks of clothes and a single change room squeezed into an
awkward section of the top floor.

The clothes are all nice Brazillian stuff.
Cath is originally from Brazil so it all makes sense. Alexander Herchovitch
and Reinaldo Laurenco are the two I remember.
The fit out has been helped along by powder pink paint, a couple of nice
chairs and some art from Tony Garifilakis and Matt Griffin, the latter is
Cath
