Vitrine 2005 in Antwerp and the first Beauty without Irony exhibit

Dear Shaded Viewers,

It is Vitrine 2005 in Antwerp and my favorite tulip master has installed tulip shoes and leather tulip bijoux by shoe designer Catherine Willems in his window. As Ronald van der Hilst says, "maybe it will give flower power on the dance floor."

Meanwhile 25 artists are showcased at the first "Beauty without irony" exhibition, http://beautywithoutirony.typepad.com/photos/beauty_without_irony_supe/. The supertriennial for Visual arts, fashion and design in Hasselt opened last Friday night.

On the photo you see the work "Skin" by Belgian artist Andy Wauman, he attached it to the wall of contemporary art center Z33 in Hasselt as part of the BWI expo. www.superhasselt.be.
