It is a strange thing at Pasarela Cibeles in Madrid, there is a two hour wait between shows. THe fact that I did not sleep even one hour last night is making this show structure a bit of a torture. I am waiting for the show of Miguel Palacio to start at 17h. He used to be my neighbor in Paris but moved back to Madrid and found his real success. Now he is dressing the royal family and is one of the biggest names in Madrid fashion. Usually it is impossible to get one of the computers in the press room because everyone has a paper for their magazine or newspaper covering the screen and you are not welcome to sit down. I just exited from my first show in Madrid, Duvos, the crowd loved him. It was a lot of patchwork that reminded me a tiny bit of Dries Van Noten in pastel shades. I liked the big red bear outside. The big excitement here is always a few actresses from Pedro Almodovar films that sit in the front row and drive the camera men crazy, but where is Pedro.

I am really missing my double trouble, Robb Young, here and will have to wait until Friday to hook up with him in Trieste  when we are on the jury for Mittelmoda.

Later, Diane
