A very special screening of the almost finished “Endless Poetry” by Alejandro Jodorowsky

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Last night I received a message from Pascale Montandon-Jodorowsky inviting me to the preview screening, for the crew only, of Endless Poetry. What an honor. My friend Paul Mouginot and I  were the only two non crew members at the screening The director, Frank Prvich, of the documentary on Alejandro Jodorowsky's Dune, the greatest sci-fi film that was never made, was also present.

Paul and I sat behind Alejandro and his wife , the multi talented Pascal who among many other hats wore the one of the costume designer.  Alejandro's oldest son, Brontis, played Alejandro's his father and if you saw The Dance of Reality then you know that he played the principal role of Alejandro's father in the was the Dance of Reality,  Adan Jodorowsky  plays the part of Alejandro when he was  in his 20's, he also designed the sound.  Alejandro appears like an angel from time to time giving wisdom on how to understand life and why one should not fear death. It is tender and surreal at the same time.  One of the most tender moments in the film  is the love making scene where Adan as Alejandro makes love to a pretty little person, not young, just small, and also shows her that she really does not want to suicide but that in fact she really wants to live.  It is a film that will stay in your memory for a very long time.

Later,
