Chanel and Lanvin deny the rumour posted earlier on my site and state that Karl and Elbaz are not going anywhere so my apologies, but it was always stated as a rumour and never as a fact

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Today both Chanel and Lanvin denied the rumours that  Karl Lagerfeld was leaving the house of Chanel  and that Alber Elbaz would  be taking his place and that Olivier Theyskens would  take Alber's place at Lanvin. It came from a good source, obviously not good enough, but it was clearly stated on my site as a rumour, never as a fact. Frankly, I am happy that it was not true, and apologize to all concerned  if I  caused anyone any discomfort. As stated on Business of Fashion, Elbaz has a significant ownership stake in Lanvin, which as he stated made the rumour hard to believe.

I found Fake Karl's response entertaining:

Sorry to have interrupted construction of the tree house. Rumours are rumours and as such are never meant  to be considered as facts. The Houses have denied the rumours so lets just leave it at that.

Later,
