But in 2011 she had sold JOYCE to Lane Crawford. Always loved @anndemeulemeester_official . It was crazy the person setting up the appointments never mentioned there was a video crew coming so the designers thought it would just be me. This caused some problems with some designers would talk to me but did not want to be filmed. Poor planning on our part as crew was just shut out. But Ann was cool, a littled surprised but said ok. @form.community

1999 Ninth Gate by Roman Polanski #cinema #romanpo 1999 Ninth Gate by Roman Polanski #cinema #romanpolanski #myminicareerincinema A long time ago I was walking by a tea room in my hood when a casting director asked me to take a polaroid so she could show it to Polanski for an extra part. The part- last couple arriving at a black mass. funnily it was the exact same location Robert Altman's Pret-a-Porter took place, the Rothschild Villa otherwise known as the Chateau de Ferrieres. I had told the casting director not to try and convince Polanski but if he wanted me it was as I am I don t change my look, I did accept to wear high heels instead of platform shoes however. That was 1994. Once again I had the opportunity to work with one of the best cinematographers on the planet, Darius Khondji. The other great was Henri Alekan, he had worked with Jean Cocteau on la belle et la bete and Wim Wenders on Wings of Desire, neither of which I was working on. My experience was with Amos Gitae on Golem l Esprit d'Exile where i was the 6 th and last costume designer and Alekan was the cinematographer #cinema #polanski on the film. @johnnydepp @emmanuelleseigner were the principal actors.
