I only lived with 3 people in my life, outside of I only lived with 3 people in my life, outside of family of course. Although I kept my own apartment in the West Village, next to what is now Book Marc, we basically lived together about a year and a half. Norman, Jean-Marie and Glenn. Truth be told, I am a loner and love my privacy and peace. Funny thing is as a libra, 5 planets in libra , a couple sign, but I am happiest living alone.
While I was putting together my first collection i While I was putting together my first collection in New York I had collected antique clothes. Most either Victorian or 1930's all with hand work. I was open only 3 days a week from 1-5, rather limited hours but I wanted sales to help support my collection but did not want that to take too much of my time away from creating. I took this ad out and one of my first clients for this dress in black was Holly Woodlawn. That was a story in itself. Also it brought me a beautiful woman, Jan, #newyork #fashion whose husband wanted to back me with a store. It never happened but was fun for a while looking for real estate on the upper east side. In the end his accountant advised him against it and honestly it was too soon I did not know anything about the business.

I finally made it to #artbrute @le_grand_palais #i I finally made it to #artbrute @le_grand_palais #insideroutsider directed by @philippecohensolal english voice over @geoffreycarey55 Wonderful VR experience but no easy feat getting the headset over my hair but managed by releasing the strap on the top of your head. It is 10 wonderfully immersive minutes. Even without my glasses, which definitely did not fit under the headset I could enjoy the music, the visuals a d my friend @geoffreycarey55 voice. Do go #expoartbrut on until #september 21 Bravo @philippecohensolal I followed this story via your album and a performance by @denislavant and this was intoxicating. @marcoderivera

I remember before I moved to Paris I had dinner with a few friends, he was nolonger my editor, but happy to have him present as a friend. Lost touch a long time ago. @wwd #fashionhistory #1980s

I used to sell my collection to her sister, Linda Rodin, when she had a shop in SoHo called Linda Hopp. Ancient history but a nice one until I started selling to Linda Dresner and then it all fell apart.
