47,000 people wanted to form a ‘flash Mob’ to recreate the 47 km of the Berlin Wall in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall

Rebuilding the berlin wall

Dear Shaded Viewers,

A large scale project is set for 9th November at 8 pm to create a temporary monument to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. For this Martin Butler needs your help, 47,000 of you.

The temporary monument will be created by a 'flash Mob' of approximately 47,000 people who will form a single line to recreate the 47 km of the Berlin wall, that symbolically divided the west from the east of europe, along the exact route of the original wall.

The plan is to divide the route, where the original wall was into smaller areas. Different groups will be asked to appear at that particular area at a certain time.

With each group, group A, would then join group B, who would join group C etc, until the whole 47 km of wall that divided east and west Berlin would be recreated.
