With the right academic pillars behind our fashion schools, we can produce and guide young fashion talents towards flourishing futures. Therefore, the City of Seoul launched Fashion Blossom 2011 during Seoul Fashion Week. Intentionally it is a competitive platform where premature graduates have the opportunity to define their early steps, next to a comfortable and relevant economic incentive when winning a prize. A private ceremony was held with a prestigious national and international jury including local designer Mr.Sangbong Lee, Editor Mrs.Anna Yoon from DAZED&CONFUZED Korea and Mrs.Sarah Lerfel from Parisian retailer Colette. The event showed their effort on filtrating or better said accommodating all potential young suppliers. Appropriating Korean names might be a difficult task, but the contest welcomes all global candidates as well, and aims to generate new fronts from contemporary ones. In a market where often all segments are mixed and unclear, Fashion Blossom seems to assume the necessary responsibility for heading towards bright horizons.
