Last week, Telfar unveiled its newest bid to, in its own words, “bring much-needed relief to an increasingly dry and atrophied fashion environment.” After a string of acclaimed collaborations with Converse, Timberland, and UGG, the brand now steps into its own lane with a debut line of in-house footwear — a versatile, futuristic venture into genderless design.
Named the Modular Shoe, the collection reimagines what modern footwear can be. Each style is built around a single tubular construction that wraps the toes and coils at the heel, forming the foundation for three distinct silhouettes.
The Mid Modular Boot—described as the blueprint of the collection—is crafted from 100% Nappa leather. With its rounded toe and Chelsea-inspired silhouette, it offers a clean, modern shape that transitions easily between settings.

Next comes the Tall Modular Boot, a stretched evolution of its shorter sibling. Constructed from ribbed knit with a leather logo detail, it delivers a sharper look that fits close to the leg and stands out through subtle texture.

Finally, there’s the Modular Mule, merging the forms of a clog, mule, and wedge, and channelling Telfar’s ongoing interest in adaptable, genderless design.

The collection arrives in black, white, red, and drab, and is now available on telfar.net.
