The source of inspiration in the collection is Lawrence Alma-Tadema, an artist known for his portraits of life in ancient times (especially from the Pompeii era).
He is the most internationally known neo-Pompeian artist; he was able, thanks to the incredible archaeological knowledge and flawless technique, to build the illusion of ancient times in an intimate and refined way.
The collection shows the same timeless spirit typical of Alma Tadema paintings.
His ideal for modern beauty is in the shapes and the construction of every piece: from the aristocratic length of the wrap skirt to the noble woman rain-coat with modern cuts and unusual fabric combinations; classicism meets sportswear using asymmetric cuts, shirts and silk jacquard and quilted jackets.
A fusion of genre also applies to the fabrics: organza, tulle and cotton – using a variety of weights and textures (technical-taffeta, nylon and flamed denim).
