For the first time in seven years, Printed.jp, a platform dedicated to publishing and curating print publications centred on fashion and art, is releasing a new MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA archive book titled “0 0 10.”
To mark the release, Printed.jp has partnered with the online museum LA MUSEUM to host an exhibition showcasing selected pieces from the book.
The exhibition will also feature a collection of artisanal works by Marina Yee — a fellow Belgian designer, close friend of Martin Margiela, and member of the iconic Antwerp Six, who rose to prominence during the same era.
Inside the Lab Space, visitors will find approximately 70 pieces by Martin Margiela, offering a rare opportunity to view his designs up close. Beyond simple observation, guests will even be invited to handle select pieces, allowing for a deeper appreciation of each garment’s craftsmanship and intricate details.
Titled “Artisanal,” the exhibition celebrates both designers’ pioneering interest in reimagining existing materials. Through techniques such as re-dyeing aged fabrics, adding embellishments, and repurposing unexpected objects—for example, transforming a deck of playing cards into a garment—the show invites visitors to experience the creative philosophy of renewing an object’s life through transformation.
