Metamorphic Light: Niccolò Pasqualetti Spring/Summer 2026

A prism of light folds into itself, a murmur of texture, perhaps just a simple thought. We seek collectively for light, chasing its reflections across fabric and form, searching for the moment to clear our illusions. I’m drawn to the blurred edges—Niccolò Pasqualetti’s idea of beauty lives there, in a constant play of deconstruction and metamorphosis. Balancing structure and heartbeat, the Spring/Summer 2026 collection rises with quiet intensity. The designer crafts an ecosystem that lures the eye to wander, to follow motion’s rhythm before the rest unfolds.

A touch of opulence, the chandelier’s reflection casts a gentle brilliance as shoulder pads emerge and dissolve, subtly reshaping the proportions of both garment and body. Instinctively, we follow the movement as hidden zippers trace new paths through pleats, turning flat surfaces into volume and volume into line. The texture navigates between woven intrecciato, sequined tulle, or laser-cut lambskin. Metallic accents break through the textile, and we are cheering for the kinetic energy. The silhouettes, dressed entirely in white, move like modern oracles through the Palais de Tokyo, inhabiting tunics, wide trousers, and long-line ensembles whose austere lines are softened by draped cotton and minimal stitching. We become witnesses to transformation. Simple squares of fabric, joined at just a few points, are reimagined as blouses, dresses, and skirts. The designer’s mastery of cut and form is visible in every careful detail, sublimating the ordinary.

For Spring/Summer 2026, Pasqualetti unveils an elusive and metamorphic collection drawing inspiration from the rich tailoring traditions of Italy – attires catching the light like a quiet sigh, a study in equilibrium, and a testament to transformation in movement.
