Aura de Paris is a captivating new collection of handmade necklaces and bracelets inspired by the vibrant spirit of Paris and the timeless beauty of vintage craftsmanship. The line is the creation of Richard Nahem, a former New Yorker who has called Paris home since 2005.
Each one-of-a-kind or limited-edition piece in the Aura de Paris collection reflects Nahem’s love for bold color combinations, playful textures, and imaginative design. Materials such as glass, crystals, pearls, resin, and repurposed vintage jewelry are sourced from flea markets and brocantes across Paris, giving the collection a deeply personal and authentic feel.
The idea for the brand was born in December 2024, when Nahem made a spontaneous bead purchase at the Clignancourt flea market. What began as a creative experiment quickly evolved into a full-fledged passion. Today, Aura de Paris features more than 200 unique pieces, each lovingly crafted by hand.
The Spring/Summer 2025 collection pays homage to the Swinging 60s, with bold and whimsical pieces: oversized Lucite bubbles, tangerine resin slivers, yellow chiffon pentagons paired with hammered pewter, and round beads dotted with playful polka patterns.
“My goal is to evoke joy and nostalgia while creating something completely fresh,” says Nahem. “Each piece tells a story, just like the flea markets of Paris that inspired them.”
About the Designer
Richard Nahem is an American-born designer and long-time Paris resident with a background in the arts and media. His love of vintage treasures, color, and creative expression led him to launch Aura de Paris as his first jewelry line, blending Parisian flair with bold, contemporary design.
