BALENCIAGA | AUTOMOBILI LAMBORGHINI COLLABORATION photos by Stef Mitchell

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Balenciaga’s partnership with Automobili Lamborghini is a bold collision of two worlds obsessed with innovation and spectacle. Debuting with the Fall 25 collection, the collaboration fuses the Parisian house’s signature volumes and codes with the audacious lines and engineering of Lamborghini’s super sports cars, most notably the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario.

The collection is maximalist: oversized bombers, racing leathers, trompe-l’œil shirts emblazoned with supercar imagery, and accessories like the Rodeo and Hourglass bags reimagined with Lamborghini’s Shield emblem. Jewelry, travel mugs, and charms riff on automotive iconography, while the campaign, shot by Stef Mitchell, places models and a Lamborghini Revuelto side by side—fashion and machine as equals.

But the collaboration is more than just product drops. It’s a global event, with graffiti-tagged Revuelto cars parked outside flagship stores from Paris to Tokyo, each city flaunting a unique colorway. Inside, visitors can test Lamborghini racing simulators built with real supercar parts or explore the new Temerario in immersive virtual reality via Apple Vision Pro. Art installations by Yngve Holen dissect Lamborghini components, transforming car parts into contemporary sculpture at select boutiques.

In a market saturated with luxury tie-ins, Balenciaga and Lamborghini have engineered a collaboration that’s as much about the rush of the experience as the clothes themselves—a testament to both brands’ refusal to take their foot off the gas.
