Dear Shaded Viewers,
It’s about two decades of friendship and I cannot imagine a world without one of my dearest friends, Miguel Villalobos, he is a vision of light and love and today is his birthday. When I think of him I always picture the Ace of Cups from the tarot deck—overflowing with emotion, creativity, and generosity. Like pure sunshine, his presence illuminates every space he enters, filling it with warmth and positivity. His talents are immense in photography, art, sculpture, animations and jewelry-making, nothing short of inspiring; he is a true renaissance man whose creativity knows no bounds.
While he may humorously claim singing is not among his gifts, I’ve never heard him sing to confirm that. He is a friend whose brilliance and kindness enrich the lives of everyone he comes in contact with. Those who normally shy away from being photographed yearn to be captured through his lens. Personally, I am fortunate to benefit from his incredible artistry, which enriches my life through posters, t-shirts, trophies, animations, and most profoundly, by having him as a dear and cherished friend.
