The invite, in the imagination, is at the languid Adriatic limit, between the industrial

and the damp – sweaty techno – the ideal place for a romantic excess, extraordinary

yet gratuitous .

Sea, night, winter: a legendary threesome .

Those who find themselves there are in search of a violent minute , capable of

overturning the course of things: in their clothes the inside-outness starts from the

weights that reverse the value of the underwear, brought to surface level: the jackets

– minimal – cotton ribbed, the rough and transparent mohair trousers, the padded

crepe-de-chine outerwear. Everything calls for touch, yearning for the nude.

This new blatant investigation materialises as a special bag that wears underwear,

made in collaboration with Medea, female signature of an ingenious product, also

famous for its contribution to the Mediterranean discourse.

If the organic fails to be reassuring, it desires to be sensual – washed out debris meet

novelty without resistance. The décolleté is fundamental: a resolute interruption of

fabric towards the throat, unrelenting like a guillotine blow.

A new label, Nudo By Magliano, is dedicated to a reinterpretation of the basics,

a conjuration to the lie of excess, a precious refuge from the chaos around. Fleece

and cotton mix with the classic and give breathing space and become functional for

nocturnal wanderings.

The necessity for ornament is satisfied by pieces of t-shirts knotted around jackets

in buoyant styling gestures: scraps become heroic relics. Everything chasing

its archaeological nature. The prints speak of ruins of the past: lost civilisations,

mythological nightclubs, childhood memories. Jewellery as washed-up discoveries,

sweat-encrusted chains, sand-covered bracelets.

Brilliance is a dusty and worn-out matter. Knitwear adorned with Swarovski crystals

refracts lunar gleams.
