The luxury house has enlisted a trio of Chinese celebrities – actress Zhang Xiaofei, actress-singer Yang Chaoyue, and model Bing Bing Liu – to front the Balenciaga New Year campaign. Director Lucca Lutzky has been tasked with crafting intimate, mirror-reflected moments of the talent preparing for New Year festivities.
The New Year series will be available in select Balenciaga stores worldwide and on balenciaga.com and balenciaga.cn. The series features hooded denim and flannel jackets, a leather taxi jacket, hoodies, sweatpants and t-shirts. Each item features the New Year series motif: a patched monogram Balenciaga logo with a washed, frayed finish.
