Erdem’s Blooming Beautiful New It Bag by Bethany Berkeley

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Erdem’s recently unveiled It bag, adequately dubbed the ‘Bloom’ bag has just released a new captivating campaign. The bag, which intially launched in November is number one on my christmas wishlist —I’ve purposely been a good girl these last few months in order to receive it!

Handcrafted in Italy, each bag features a striking flower-bud handle, meticulously crafted from hammered brass with a light gold finish. The collection is inspired by the sculptural beauty of flowers, the intricate handle is created using the lost wax casting technique, traditionally employed in fine jewelry making. The sculptural form of the handle’s hardware contrasts beautifully with the bag’s organic, unstructured silhouette, crafted from soft calfskin leather or velvet and lined in suede.

The beauty of the bag is not only found in its shape and hardware details but the fact that it comes in two distinctive sizes, medium and mini, making it easy to transition from day to night. The medium is offered in khaki green and black calf-skin leather with a detachable leather strap. The mini is available in both sumptous cream and elegant black hues made from calfskin leather and black velvet, all with a detachable fine gold finish chain strap.

Myself being an advocate for mini bags, it’s without a doubt the one I hope to see under the tree, come Christmas morning.

The Bloom bag collection is available now, both in store and at erdem.com.

Later,

Bethany
