Byronesque + Fondazione Sozzani – Carla Sozzani’s private archive is available on Byronesque.com

Byronesque has selected a collection from Carla Sozzani’s private archive, in recognition of the thirty-three years that Fondazione Sozzani has been unwavering in its commitment to the arts and circular fashion.

Fondazione Sozzani has collaborated with and exhibited the most recognizable images in the world, from Annie Leibovitz and Sarah Moon to Nick Waplington, Irving Penn and of course Paolo Roversi, currently being celebrated at Palais Galliera.

Imagining a world without the high level photography, art, and fashion that the Fondazione promotes and protects, Byronesque designed a campaign using only text to show examples of these great works. Written by Andrea Mason and designed by Paul Heatherington. Texts that force the reader to imagine it for themselves; like a high art/fashion guessing game.

Imagine a world without the Comme des Garçons tulle skirt from F/W 2000. Or Baroque frills from Ghesquière’s S/S 2006 Balenciaga. Or original ‘80s body con pieces from Alaïa. For the first time, these pieces, and more, will be available to purchase to support the Fondazione Sozzani. By appointment only in Paris on Saturday 23rd, March. 2024.

Images of the collection will be available next month on Byronesque.

If you missed the visit today in Paris you can find the collection now, available for sale on Byronesque.

Later,
Diane
