After five years, Charles Jeffrey, Scottish designer and creative director of contemporary brand LOVERBOY returns to the Big Apple. This long overdue visit is accompanied by a vibrant film which plays tribute to the concept of ever-changing creativity. This visual feast includes Jeffrey’s unique Dover Street Market NY installation, visiting famous landmarks and intimate conversations with notable talents which include Kid Super, Joey Labeija, Duckie Brown, Angelica Davinci, and Niko Haagenson. The heartfelt discussions delve deep into the interviewee’s love for the city’s signature style, nightlife, iconic fashion and polymathic art forms; defining what self expression means to New York’s visionaries.
Co-directed by talented contemporary artist Talus Andolsek, who’s videography follows Jeffrey through vibrant hotspots from Uptown Willamsburg, to the bustling heart of the Bronx, and an unforgettable cheeky stop off at the very Miss herself, The Statue of Liberty on Ellis Island.
