Although the show notes said that the collection was Dancing Diaries inspired by nostalgia and long summer nights of dancing, I could not help but feel there was a definite influence of the fantasy comedy directed by Greta Gerwig, Barbie. The film Barbie is based on fashion dolls by Mattel. The ready-to-wear collection opened Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
