Dear Shaded Viewers,
I’ve been enchanted by Matthieu Blazy since his graduation collection from La Cambre in 2007. His talent was evident then but he honed his talents and techniques working behind the scenes for signature brands then finally Bottega Veneta put him out front where he deserves to be.
He is equally talented with his men’s as he is with his women’s. Bottega Veneta’s braiding was honoured. Clearly Blazy knows and loves what he does, he is a real designer as opposed to a creative director. His silhouettes are refined and understated. His experimentation with textiles and knits is sublime. Bravo Matthieu Blazy you get better every season.
