So funny to find this 1987 WWD cover online. I remember Lovey Marino flying in on the red eye direct to the WWD photo shoot. I made the stretch fabric with an embroidery company taking a wool jersey and embroidering with elastic thread to give the effect of a basket weave after being inspired by the makers of the baskets on a recent trip to Tanger.
