Jefferson Hack to be honoured with the Special Recognition Award for Cultural Curation

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Monday, December 5th The British Fashion Council will award Jefferson Hack a Special Recognition Award for Cultural Curation at the Royal Albert Hall. Jefferson Hack is the co-founder of Dazed Media which has a portfolio that includes AnOther Magazine, Dazed, Dazed Beauty, and NOWNESS as well as Dazed Studio. Over the past three decades Hack has had an immense impact on culture, highlighting non-sterotypical topics around gender, race and identity and exploring the boundaries of art, fashion, photography, music and performance.

The Fashion Awards is the main fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, the charity that brings all the BFC’s initiatives under one umbrella, supporting the future growth and success of the British fashion industry by focusing on education, grant-giving and business mentoring.

Congratulations Jefferson Hack, well deserved.

Below, once upon a time in London. Who has better hair? David Lynch or Jefferson Hack? I say it is a tie.

Later,

Diane
