It was Press Day in Paris today and I went to see the collection of Vincent Garnier Pressiat . The French designer presented his third collection in Paris during Paris Fashion Week.
Influences vary from Marlene Dietrich, Klaus Nomi to Lucio Fontana with a textile interpreted by Pressiat inspired by the slasher. Pressiat also created a print out of his own art. His signature color is Black. Silhouettes go from body suits to oversized coats with imposing shoulders. All the pieces are transformational, the idea is you dress for the mood of the day.
