ASVOF is always interested in the process: Regenerated SS22 – Tea Towels by Marine Serre Video by Giulia Roman

Dear Shaded Viewers,

In March Marine Serre invited us to see the brand’s essence through the Hard Drive Exhibition. The video above focuses on the traditional tea towel and how garments are made from them.

Often woven with symmetrical stripes and customised with embroidered initials, tea towels in linen fibers have an organic touch charged with personal stories and intimate kitchen-room narratives. All of the garments are made out of drying cloths carefully selected upon their weight, shades and individual qualities in order to create an off-white, summery patchwork. Click on the link below to discover more of the tea-towel designs.
