It is entertainment week at 35/37 and at the same time there are the Pop-Up shops: Dover Street Little Market and Comme des Garcons Black Market. There is also a Pop-Up 1909 Bookstore. Entertainment Week at 35/37 includes installations, there is the giant horizontal sculpture by the 22 year old artist, Elia Valet. Chlorophyllia ‘It’s time to listen to nature ‘ installation with a plant-based techno tunnel that plays music when you touch it. Each plant’s cellular structure changes the characteristics of the wave and sounds. The result is a continuous stream of music that gives you a sonic window into the secret life of the plants. I missed it but there was a ‘Plant Wave’ performance tonight by Baby Frog.
