Dear Shaded Viewers,
“Once in a lifetime” is the translation of an idiom known by the Japanese tea master “Sen no Rikyu”. Jun Takahashi created this collection in his new studio located in a mountain where he could walk down to the beach. “Cherish the ordinary. It reflects my wish to create designs that are not excessively decorative but deeply rooted in everyday life.
One of the collaborators this season was the Japanese rock band “OGRE YOU ASSHOLE” for the style of music and graphics. “Even an ordinary day, any moment in life cannot be repeated. Treasure every single day of your life..is the theme for this collection.”
