Dear Shaded Viewers,
The location for the Jourden collection was the Pavillon Ledoyen which happened to be the first restaurant to offer service “a la carte” at the turn of the 20th century. In this atmosphere Jourden offered a stripped-down incarnation of the Jourden woman which merges twenties bias cut dresses with eighties power suits leaving behind King Kong’s woman in distress and turning her from victim to champion.
