Dear Shaded Viewers,
In addition to attending the 4th MAD Madifesto European Fashion Summit United Fashion conference I had the opportunity to visit the Reflection exhibition by Jean-Paul Lespagnard. If you click on the video he will talk/walk us through it. Reflection is an apt title because on the ground floor JP puts together all of his inspirations and on the 1st floor you see how he interpreted those ideas and put them into his collection. I loved the idea that when visiting a friend in Paris he noticed a pillow case drying on a hanger and that became the starting point for a gold blouse. Sources of inspiration came from Salvador Dali’s Aphrodisiac Dinner Jacket, a pillow case, a vintage evening coat, a Courreges coat dress……
The Reflection exhibition continues till April 15th, 2018.
