A visit to Fondation d’Entreprise Galeries Lafayette, Paris

Dear Diane, dear Shaded Viewers,

Yesterday evening I went to the Fondation d’Entreprise Galeries Lafayette space (I’m not sure if it’s a pop-up or Lafayette really owns the space) to see the exhibition “Faisons de l’inconnu un allié”, in the old Weber metals building, at the Marais (across Thaddaeus Ropac gallery).

The exhibition includes a mostly young and edgy, though trendy, selection of artists: Camille Blatrix, Tyler Coburn, Mimosa Echard, Simon Fujiwara, Yngve Holen, Oliver Laric, Lucy McKenzie, Perks And Mini (P.A.M.), Slow and Steady Wins the Race (keep an eye on the leather accessorize work they do), Valerie Snobeck, Cally Spooner, Studio Brynjar & Veronika, Rayyane Tabet, Anicka Yi.

Still, the building really steals the show… its raw interiors are incredible.

Kindly,

Mario Canal.
