MYKITA + MAISON MARGIELA 2016 – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

Summer is fast approaching and keeping things shaded therefore becomes a must. Leave it to Mykita and Maison Margiela to come up with some of the coolest glasses this season, both sleek and architectural. The mostly unisex range is elegant and geometric, echoing the beauty of mineral rocks and their graphic appeal. Playing with contrasting textures, oversize proportions and neutral tones, this collaboration is an instant classic, echoing the sharply tailored and unfussy lines of the famous Maison.

Best,

Philippe
