PHOTOGRAPHER RANKIN CURATES NEW EXHIBITION AND AUCTION FOR THE MUSEUM OF LIVERPOOL

Dear Diane and Shaded Viewers,

Photographer Rankin has curated a new exhibition and charity auction called “It’s Glam Up North” that will be open at the Museum of Liverpool from September 25 until December 6.

The exhibition features pieces from Rankin as well as other noted artists, filmmakers, fashion and graphic designers like Martin Creed, Peter Seville, Mark Farrow, Sue Webster, Scott King, Adam Hayes and more.

There will also be a Burberry trench coat specially designed by Christopher Bailey, a copy of Vivienne Westwood’s limited-edition book “Opus” and a hat donated by milliner Stephen Jones.

All of the items donated to the exhibition will be auctioned for charity on Saturday November 21 for Claire House Children’s Hospice.

“I’m overwhelmed and thankful to everyone who has contributed to the exhibition and auction,” Rankin said. “Each has been positive and supportive of my aim to raise lots of money for Claire House Children’s Hospice, recognizing the incredible work they do in Merseyside to support children, young people and their families. I’m also excited that the Museum of Liverpool, one of the most iconic buildings on Liverpool’s waterfront, is hosting the exhibition and auction.”
