Dear Shaded Viewers,
I was watching the Groupies film and thought let's kick it up a bit, here is Cherry Vanilla. Read her book Lick Me, she was the queen of it all. I wrote this piece about Cherry when I was co-Editor in Chief at ZOO Magazine and Cherry was just launching her book. Some background in the very early 80's when the CFDA put on a group show of 'emerging designers' they chose Cherry to be the MC and make as if she was at the door of the MUDD Club. That was my first introduction to Cherry, years later she wrote about me and also bought my designs back in the days when I was a designer living in NYC.

If you watch the last video with me at Cherry's, actually that is where I stayed when we launched 'You Wear it Well' ,watch it small I don't know what happened to it over the last 10 years but the video is all broken up…a faded memory I guess.
