Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen is a cutting-edge artist inspired by diverse influences in arts, sciences , music and philosophy. In fall 2015 her work will be exhibited by the High Museum of Art, which is the first U.S museum to present her work. The exhibition will feature unique haute couture and the world's first examples of 3D-printed fashion, marking the High's first presentation of fashion design, Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and innovative techniques such as 3D-print will be evident through the exhibition.The exhibition is co-organized with the Groninger Museum and will debut at the High Museum of Art, before continuing on a North American tour.
