Dear Shaded Viewers,
If you are in NYC I highly recommend that you attend Anja Aronowsky Cronberg & Vestoj's presentation of The Vestoj Storytelling Salon at Sunday sessions at MoMA PS1, produced by Fondation Galeries Lafayette on March 29th.
I attended the Paris version and totally was immersed in all the storytelling.
The Vestoj Storytelling Salon
A project by Anja Aronowsky Cronberg and Vestoj
Sundays Sessions at MoMA PS1 on Sunday March 28th, 2015
With Candy Pratts Price, Dapper Dan, Pat Cleveland, Mary McFadden, Glenn O’Brien and Andre Walker
A performance produced by the Fondation Galeries Lafayette
After being presented in April 2014 at the Fondation Galeries Lafayette in Paris, the Vestoj Storytelling Salon goes on an international tour, starting on Sunday March 29th, 2015, at MoMA PS1, New York. Following up with the Parisian session which was organized by Anja Aronowsky Cronberg, the Vestoj Storytelling Salon brings together a handful of people who have shaped the New York fashion scene over the past five decades. Each will be telling stories, all linked through their common narrative based on the intersection of our clothing and our past. Aiming to remove the barriers between storyteller and audience, the Vestoj Storytelling Salon allows the response of the listeners to influence and inform the ebb and flow of the stories themselves, effectively turning the listeners into co-creators of each story as it's being experienced.
Tickets: $15
MoMA / MoMA PS1+ member tickets: $13
