Dear Shaded Viewers,
Mesh Chibber and Sofie C Guerrero have launched a new project Peau de Chagrin where they will introduce four or five objects a year in a limited edition of one hundred. The two have travelled the globe searching for artisans and their first object is a bag which was made by one artisan in the Swiss Juras with chrome free leather (to minimise the environmental impact).
Each bag comes with a copy of Peau de Chagrin which is inspired by the Balzac novel of the same name and that they have published in a special edition.
