Ulay: performance, book launch and documentary in Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam January 9

The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam  welcomes the artist Ulay with a series of events and a book launch as well as a performance A Skeleton in the Closet on January 15th. The book launch and an interview with performance scholar Amelia Jones takes place on January 9th and the screening of the documentary Project Cancer (2013) on January 10th. His best known work  of intensely physical collaborations was with Marina Abramovic. Ulay has spent five decades blazing a trail of unwavering vitality and unquestionalbe integrity. His work in photography as well as performance is considered among the most innovative and groundbreaking in the 20th century and contemporary art.
