In celebration of the FIAC and its Gallery Night, VSP inaugurates a new space, the VSP ART LOUNGE, dedicated to art within their brand new flagship store. The chosen artist for the first exhibition in the new space is Nil Yalter. NIL YALTER Pioneer in the French feminist art movement of the 1970s, renowned Paris-based artist Nil Yalter, was educated at Robert College, the prestigious American secondary educational institution in Istanbul. An active member of the French counterculture and revolutionary political movement of the late 1960s, her work is multi-media including drawing, photography, video, and performance art. Her work has been exhibited and is in permanent collections of the TATE MODERN, CENTRE POMPIDOU, THE FONDS NATIONAL D'ART CONTEMPORAIN, MUSEUM OF MODERN ART PS1 GALLERIES, amongst others.
