Dear Shaded Viewers,
To wind up my whirlwind trip to China at the invitation of Mr. Mao and EXCEPTION, I spent a night and a day in Guangzhou so that I could visit the Headquarters of the 3 operations. Our surprise visit caught everyone intensely at work, always a good sign. I already showed you my morning visit to Fang Suo but here are a few images from the Headquarters of EXCEPTION and WHY NOT. I particularly liked the dynamic new building that houses WHY NOT. It is huge, I felt a little like being in an airport walking up the ramp. After my very busy last day, well only day, in Guangzhou I met Mr. and Mrs. Mao for dinner with other team members and friends for a lovely private dinner at my new fave hotel, the Mandarin Oriental in Guanzhou. I loved my stay in that hotel and already found out the my KTZ friends stay there too when in Guangzhou.
It was a bit of a rush to the airport and I nearly missed the flight but…I made it and I'm back in Paris now.
