LES SEULS 2 EXHIBITION AT RED FISH FACTORY IN ANTWERP – TEXT BY PHILIPPE POURHASHEMI

Dear Shaded Viewers,

If you're in Antwerp this week -and are planning on attending the Royal Academy of Fine Arts graduation show- make sure you head to the Red Fish Factory first to preview Karolien Hamers' and Nicolas Baeyens' new installation. Focusing on confrontational, rude and often disruptive content, the two artists use the grotesque to create chaotic installations, which nevertheless have a subtlety and order of their own. Christoph Broich and Thomas Engels -the owners of the Red Fish Factory- have an eye for exciting artists, as well as a generous and engaging spirit. The show runs until the 15th of June and the opening is tomorrow night from 7 to 10pm.

Best,

Philippe
