While I was in Rome I visited 'the loser project' at Farani "costume to couture" at Altaroma. Rui Duarte is the creative director behind 'the loser project' which is based in Berlin. The collection was inspired by Pasolini and the method of producing the pieces is taken from traditional naval construction, a technique that was used for freight shipping but adapted to a smaller format. The pieces are extremely durable and do not use glue or sewing.They also used Stephen Thompson for their campaign and I cannot think of a better model.
